Yeehaw Time Again

Yeppers, it surely is. Time for good ole Mule Days. I’m not really a big fan of all the festivities or even seeing the constant littering of horse manure on the streets — well the smell of it, that’s another thing. I’ve grown partial to that smell because I enjoy the aroma everytime I walk out my door thanks to the horse farm behind my house. Nothing like a good ole whiff of horse dung first thing in the morning. It really goes well behind my Frosted Flakes. But other than that, Mule Days signifies the start of my favorite season! I love the fall. Football, fall foliage, cooler weather are among the things that enter my mind. Also fall symbolizes the end of gnat season. I’m going to miss those little guys until next Spring. I love their buzzing sound they make in my ear, it makes me tingle all over. Last but not least, I’m going to miss that wonderful blood sucking state bird of ours. At least I feel like a good citizen, I’ve given a lot of blood this summer. As for Mule Days, it starts tonight with country music star, John Anderson at 8pm. It’s a free concert at the singing grove, pretty neat. I’m sure they’ll be lots of cruising going on. Welp, holler at me if you see me there :-)
God Jamie! You make me laugh so hard I almost pee in my pants! I wish I could be there for mules day. I went when I was 9 remember?
