This Old House
Finally I’ve gotten around to working on things around the house again. I managed to save a little money here and there and there are a few things on my list to get done. One thing that tops the list is this old storage house in the back yard. It’s always been a place where Grandma kept her Christmas decorations, a deep freezer and a bunch of other junk.
If you’ve kept track of my pictures you will see that the front of this place was covered in gray shingles. I figured out why there were shingles on it. Once I started ripping them off I started thinking “why did I do this??”. I discovered another door and also discovered that on the other end there is no german siding like is on the front of the shed. The shingles certainly hid the ugliness. Anyway, my goal was to try and steer clear of throwing a bunch of money into this project. I got an estimate for vinyl siding and it was nearly 1200 bucks and that’s just too much. I’m going to throw some paint on it that’s the color of my house and see how that looks. I should be able to finish with only putting a couple hundred dollars in it which is certainly more economical than 1200.

Good Thinking Jayme! lol I miss you guys! I’m moving to Virgina in July! I’ll see y’all before that though!
