Momento Diary for iPhone

Thanks to Jason VanLue of 57Studios.com for telling me about this iPhone app. If you’re one that likes to keep track of your thoughts and ideas on a daily basis this app is awesome! It can also be used on the iPod Touch if you own one of those and can be downloaded here: momentoapp.com. I’m going to highlight some of the cool features and how this app is seamless with your social networks.
Momento allows you to create “moments” for each day. The beauty of the app is that it allows you to integrate your social networking apps such as Facebook, Twitter, Flickr and last.fm. If you use any of those apps during that specific day it will import it and record it as part of your diary for the day.

When creating a memo you have several tools for detailing your moment. You can tag people easily and it references your address book on your iPhone! Now that’s easy.

Another option is adding location tags. You can add multiple locations as well.

You can also create your own custom tags, shown below.

Another cool feature is that you can use your iPhone or iPod Touch to choose existing photos to add to your moment or take new ones.

Once you enter in all your information for your moment, it will display and compile everything beautifully.

Finally, Momento gives you four different ways to view or search your moments or diary entries: Days, Calendar, Tags & Feeds.

I downloaded the app for myself and it’s superb and nicely done. The interface is pretty, intuitive and very easy to navigate. It isn’t a free app, but reasonably priced at $2.99. You can find it on iTunes or at momentoapp.com!
