Little Horse Trail is located just off 179 near Sedona. There’s a paved parking area just at the trail head, but you need Red Rock parking pass. You can purchase those from a vending machine at the parking area. Little Horse Trail is about 2.2 miles to Chicken Point. The hike is very hot if done in the afternoon because there is little shade, so take lots of water. The view of Chicken Point is pretty cool, but it can get crowded since jeep tours use the back roads into the vista.
