Christmases have come and gone. Things have changed. Traditions have been broken. Loved ones are gone and new ones born. What a wonderful Christmas it has been. I’m so thankful for my family and what they mean to me. Gifts have become so insignificant and those who give the gifts even more special. Thank you Jesus for coming to Earth for us. What an awesome gift! There’s always room for a King in my life. Merry Christmas.
Well another Thanksgiving has come and gone and we’re diving into the Christmas season full force. A trip to Target and Wal-Mart is like a trip to the state fair on a Saturday night. Thanksgiving turned out great as usual - good food, pretty good family ;-) and good sleeping during all the football games. I have been a bit busy and have just gotten around to posting our Thanksgiving pictures. Also take note that there are some from Chris’ Birthday as well. Some of you might find those amusing or possibly weird.
We all gathered for yet another birthday bash on Friday night. This time for Ms. Alex who turned 8 years old! Goodness time is flying by and I’m becoming an old fart in a hurry. Anywho, Jennifer and Woody hosted the party providing pizza and a yummy ice cream cake. Can’t beat free food for a great start to the weekend huh? ;-)

We all went out last Saturday night to Kemp’s Seafood for Mom’s 60th birthday. We had a great time laughing and cutting up as usual. Everyone knows how we Blackmons are. It’s the third time I have been to Kemp’s and once again I was impressed mainly by the service. Note that two of those times I’ve been Jennifer had some pull because she does the accounting work for them, so we were treated nicely. Even the time I went on a date there the service was very good.
